The overhead cargo room at Callahan Station became the museum's main exhibition area, while the central room, formerly the ticket and cashier offices, was temporarily used as storage. Over time, the society received a grant to purchase museum software for storing and tracking the collection.
Callahan Hall, currently owned by the Mt Bolivar Grange Farmers' Association, is a unique and historic building available for rent as an event space. The building offers ample indoor and outdoor space with a performance stage and generous parking. Community members annually hold special events to raise funds for the building's repairs and maintenance.
